Children's Fiction- A children's fairytale based during World War II.

This book tells the story of 4 siblings, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy, who step into a wardrobe and come out in another world called Narnia. In Narnia they find themselves on a riveting adventure, battling an evil witch alongside the king of Narnia, who just so happens to be a lion.

C.S. Lewis had an amazing talent for writing classics. With his unique writing style it feels as if you're sitting in his living room listening to him tell this story, making it up as he goes along.

The book is packed with rich characters and vivid details, so much so, in fact, that you almost feel as if you're right there in Narnia yourself.

All of this being said, it is still a children's book and cannot be held to the same standards as a high school level novel. In this way it is slightly lacking, but after all, it was written for children, so it's not really a downfall at all.

The underlying lessons are the great value of families sticking together during hard times and loving them even when they do the wrong thing. Other morals that are highlighted are the importance of loyalty and telling the truth.
