The lengthy explanation of the complex recreation of dinosaur DNA gets quite boring and lulled me to sleep several times. Many intricate details on how the computer worked and the user interface etc. could have been spared to make the novel much more interesting. Also, there is hardly any action in the first half of the book so you keep waiting for an exhilarating event that never happens which is kind of disappointing.
