Creepiness and dread build forcibly as this spooky tale of predation and murder builds toward its moments of revelation. Reading this book made me realize that humans can have the ability to have more than five senses. The characters in this story are fictional. The events were gruesome and terrifying. The main character and her grandma can experience something extraordinary of which was passed down from their ancestors. I learned that evil could be inside anyone or anybody that can live inside our body undetected. From priests to doctors, from detectives to police. A gateway from the dead to the living weakens during the month of November, allowing them to cross our world? Do demons, witchcraft, black pillars and ghosts exist? Are they present among us? Do special people really exist?
