Street racing may be fun, but it is also very dangerous. Two kids in this novel found that out for them selves as they street raced down the strip with another kid that they were friends with.
Once the race was over, the other kid kept speeding along and crashed. Although he didn't remember the accident, the others still felt very guilty. What would you have done if this had happened to you?
I have driven with friends who have street raced. Although it is fun, it can also be very dangerous because of high speeds, and other vehicles on the road. This summer, I'm going to take my car to the track to be safer with out getting in trouble with the law. It's better than killing some innocent person, and having to live with that guilt.
