Plot Preview
Will Coburn and his NCIS team must track down a Vietnam veteran called Victor Gant, who is wanted for several murders. However, no one has been able to prove it. Things get crazy when one of Coburn's men, Shel McHenry shoots Gant's son dead in a sticky take-down situation, sending Victor Gant into a rampage for revenge. But the only way he can really hurt Shel is by taking out his father.
Blood Lines is the third book in the NCIS series by Mel Odom. This is the ending of the series, and I must say that it was a killer ending. It leaves the reader satisfied with the outcome. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the characters develop as the books progressed. I grew to love them as they faced their difficulties together and overcame injuries and hardships together. It is a page-turning type of book, in that it is not a book that you will want to put down any time soon. So, if you are thinking of reading this series, my advice to you would be to make sure you have a large lump of spare time to read, otherwise this book will consume your thoughts! There is violence in this book however, and the author does not shy away from gory descriptions.
In summary, this is an excellent novel for you if you are looking for a Marine/Police book with tons of action seeping out the sides.
