The 13th Tribe was an immense page-turner for me. It played out just like a film, with all the twists and turns throughout. The book contained a good amount of suspense and violence, while also exploring a bit of the romantic side of life. This book shows the lengths that someone will go to to save someone he or she loves.
It has some interesting and strange concepts however. The fact that the Tribe is immortal made the book a little less real, but the author made up for that by adding details about the Tribe in our history (one of the Tribe was the model for a Leonardo Da Vinci painting). Descriptions of fights, weapons and tactics are very well thought through, also leaving a very real footprint in the book.
With a stellar storyline, deep characters, and a final twist that will leave you paralysed with shock, this is a full-on train ride, no stops until the next station, or in other words, the end of the book.
