Fiction. Based on the tragic past of a little girl
Genre: Tragedy, History, Suspense
Once upon a time, there was a town where night were long and the Grim Ripper was the one who was telling his own story.
In the town , there lived a little girl called Liesel Meminger who wanted to read for the sole aim to escape from reality, however Liesel's foster parents did not have the money to buy her books. In order for her to read books, she would steal it from others. After a while, she addressed herself to be a book thief who was escaping from her tragic past. Every night she dream brother dead with one eye open and the other one still dreaming.
This book Is very peculiar, when I say peculiar I'm referring that the role of the narrator is different comparing to other tragic books. As you can see the narrator is the Grim Ripper telling the story of Liesel. In the introduction, the Grim Ripper was telling some facts about himself, his life, and his work. Afterwards he would later described Liesel's life. While reading the story, somehow the Grim Ripper gives you many hints what is going to happen in the future also he likes to play using verbal irony towards the readers. However, The Grim Ripper never hesitated when he confessed that he was going to face Liesel one day. Indeed, I highly suggest this book to readers who are interested in tragic stories and historical events of World War two. This book will mark you forever.
