This book was very consistent in the way that it kept me wanting to read on. Christopher Pike's descriptive writing style could describe a situation so well that you could be visualizing in right now and be dreaming about it as you sleep. Not only were the situations well described, the characters were so well described that you could picture them sitting in front of you effortlessly. The characters in this story were very dynamic with very few flat characters. There were many themes and morals in this story that just the ordinary person could relate to. Christopher Pike really makes you think and have to read between the lines sometimes to see what he is getting and that is what makes him unique and one of my favorite authors.
