Plot Review

With the IQ of 144 Jay was a very intelligent young man: he won many debates and the lead roll in drama. When he tried drugs for the very first time, it was so amusing that it aggressively developed to an addiction. Not only  did he grasp the repulsive addiction, but he also followed a dark path. 

Personally, this novel was very well written. Even though the novel was very dark, it had great description and details. I loved how Beatrice described the part in the story when Jay and his friends took a road trip and very descriptively wrote what they did and how its went."First we siphoned off the blood from a careful tiny slash in a vein..."(Anonymous 188). Every entry kept me on my toes wanting to read more and find out what was going to happen next. However, I did not enjoy the falling action because I think that the editor Beatrice Sparks could have made it a better ending.
