Plot Review

While reading this novel, it helped me realize that some of us live life without happiness, struggling everyday without having our parents around and not having anyone to guide us or tell us what to do and where to go. Jonah lives everyday hoping it was the last. Double Cross is a painful and mysterious journey of a boy's life and the struggles he goes through to prove his father innocent. In this novel, it shows us that fighting for something you believe in can be the hardest thing to do. Everyone else may be against you, but the challenge is to keep fighting until the end. The fight will be won only if what you believe in is true and you are willing to keep fighting. Seems like two people fighting against a million others is impossible but Chloe and Jonah show us that if you are really determined anything is possible.

The main characters in this story are very strong and change a lot throughout the story. Jonah, the main character, is willing to go to any limit to prove his father innocent even though he has no one on his side that believes in what he's saying. Throughout the story Jonah is fighting this battle alone until Chloe comes along and is willing to fight with him. She does not know for sure if what Jonah is saying is true but something tells her that she needs to find out the truth behind this murder.
